Leamington: Old Town man held over burglary

A LEAMINGTON man has been remanded in custody after appearing in court charged with a burglary in which a man was punched in the face.

The 19-year-old, of Old Town, appeared before magistrates in Leamington yesterday (Thursday September 27) charged with burglary with violence.

He is alleged to have been involved in a burglary in Masters Road on Wednesday September 19, in which intruders stole £700. A 25-year-old man was assaulted during the crime.
