A MAKEOVER at Leamington jeweller Tustains – which includes a private consulting room – and staging specialist sales events has helped win brothers Tom and Joe Milner recognition for their innovative retailing.

They were awarded with a place in the Professional Jeweller Hot 100 for 2012 at a gala presentation at the Freemasons’ Hall in Covent Garden, London.

The awards is run by the trade magazine Professional Jeweller and is sponsored by the Company of Master Jewellers.

Joe said: “The list is kept secret until it is revealed on the night, so it was a complete surprise when we saw our names amongst the winners.

“This puts us in the top 20 jewellery retailers in the UK for innovation”.

And Tom said: “It’s great to have our hard work, and that of all our staff at Tustains, recognised by the industry.”

Tustains, which was founded in 1895, was also recognised for sales events at its Regent Street store, where invited guests were treated to Champagne and canapés whilst they viewed the jewellery and watch collections.

The brothers are both keen football supporters and have linked up with Leamington, hosting a number of joint events and becoming the club’s official timing partner.
