Girl injured in collision with van

A GIRL has been injured in a collision with a van in Lillington.

West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Buckley Road shortly before 2.55pm yesterday (Monday).

A paramedic area support officer in a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance crew attended.

A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The girl had a broken right leg and a broken left ankle.

“She was fully immobilised before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire. The hospital had been pre-alerted due to the seriousness of the injuries.

“The van driver was uninjured.”
