Flood alerts in Leamington

FLOOD alerts are in place in and around Leamington today (Monday), following rain over the weekend together with melted snow from last week.

The warnings are currently in place at the Mill Gardens area, the Pump Room and Pump Room Gardens, parts of Dormer Place, parts of Riverside in Adelaide Road and at Eathorpe, Hunningham and Offchurch.

Although river levels are steady on the river and are expected to remain steady over the next few hours, peoplpe who live or travel nearby are being warned to be aware of the risk of flooding and to call the Environment Agency’s Floodline regularly for further updates. Some showers are expected over the course of today which may raise river levels further.
