Fallen tree branch narrowly missed car

POLICE closed a street in Leamington this morning after a large tree branch fell had fallen into the road.

Officers helped staff from Sita, the Warwick District Council contractor, to cut up and remove the obstruction near the Courier’s office in Hamilton Terrace.

Nobody was injured in the incident but the branch narrowly missed a motorist’s car, which was parked near the tree.
