Eleanor and Pickle step out for guide dogs

SCHOOLGIRL Eleanor Stratton and her pet Pickle have been in training for weeks so that they can complete a 16-mile sponsored work in aid of Guide Dogs for the Blind on Sunday.

The nine-year-old, who lives in Claverdon, has already raised £160 in sponsorship to help the charity, which has an open day at its Leamington training school tomorrow (Saturday).

Eleanor’s mum Felicity said: “As a family we have all been involved with the organisation for many years and have had tremendous fun helping to walk four puppies and also boarding guide dogs. By volunteering Eleanor feels she is helping blind and partially-sighted people.”
