Cubbington burglars stole computers and TVs

POLICE are appealing for information after burglars broke into two homes in Cubbington and stole electrical equipment worth thousands of pounds.

In the most recent incident, between 10am and 3.40pm on Tuesday October 9, thieves smashed the back door of a house in Leicester Lane, ransacking rooms before making off with a television.

The theft came almost a week after criminals jemmied open the front door of a home in Broadway at some point before 4.15pm on Wednesday October 3.

The burglars searched the lounge and bedrooms before making off with an XBox 360 and its controllers, a number of games, a camcorder, an iPad, two 19-inch televisions, an iPod touch, a Nokia Lumia phone, headphones, an Acer laptop computer and a money pot containing cash.
