AN AMBULANCE crew was called to rescue a car that had become stuck in deep water on a road near Wellesbourne on Saturday.

An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and a paramedic area support officer attended the scene in Walton just before 5pm, where the the car was submerged in deep water. The driver had managed to escape and had not suffered injuries.
