A CAR crashed through a brick wall into a courtyard in Warwick town centre yesterday morning (Wednesday September 6).

Firefighters from Leamington and Kenilworth were called to reports of a person trapped in a vehicle at 10.40am, but it emerged this was not the case.

Fire crews made the car safe using cutting gear and a structural engineer from Warwick District Council was called in to assess the damage to the wall.
