Campaign for siblings to attend same school

MUMS in Warwickshire who are campaigning for a change in the county council’s schools admissions policy are urging people to support them in the final month they have left to gather signatures on their petition.

Hayley Hindle, whose eldest son is at Coten End Primary School in Warwick, while her youngest has been admitted to Emscote Infants School instead, is among those calling for the council to allow siblings of children who are already pupils at one school to be allowed to attend the same school.

Other schools affected include Ferncombe Primary in Hatton and Telford Infants in Lillington.

Ms Hindle is inviting anyone who lives, works or studies in Warwickshire, to read about their campaign and sign their petition before then end of November. If the petition has more than 1,000 signatures by then, it will be debated at a county council meeting.
