FROM gentle rides aboard Thomas the Tank to hair-raising drops on the fearsome G-Force, youngsters from five Warwick schools made the most of a trip out last week.

Members of the town’s Rotary Club organised the trip to Drayton Manor Park and Zoo and with the help of ConocoPhillips hired a coach to take 36 children who they thought deserved a day away from the classroom.

Rotarian John Fletcher said: “Some of the kids went on the scariest rides not once but three or four times!

“Others preferred Thomas and the zoo - but I think everyone had a really good time.”
