Whitnash allotment holder Roy Evans is offering a reward of £100 to anyone who can supply information that tracks down the people who have been slashing his polytunnel in Golf Lane and on one occasion, stealing tomato plants.

The polytunnel has been slashed four times since September and each time, Mr Evans has repaired the damage. He said if this continues, he will need to fork out between £200 and £300 to pay for a new polytunnel. Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 or the Whitnash Safer Neighbourhood team on 684248.
