Power plants, parliament and geo-thermals for Myton School students

Sixty Myton School students and staff have returned from Iceland where they visited the famous Blue Lagoon, set in a landscape of black larvae with water temperatures of up to 40 degrees.

After a geothermal swim they saw a turbine power plant and had the chance to explore the environmental impacts of a recent volcanic eruption.

There was also a trip to Iceland’s Parliament. Meanwhile, back at home, other students had the chance to question Lord Faulkner about the House of Lords
