Northgate Methodist church has completed £80,000 worth of much-needed repair work to its outer walls - with a little help from one of Warwick’s oldest charities.

The Rev Mike Grimsley (second left) was last week showing off the completed work to John Edwards and Brenda Shuttleworth of the King Henry VIII Endowed Trust, which contributed ten per cent.

Trevor Blades (left), co-ordinator of the Way Forward project, said the 120-year-old church had needed urgent attention to its brickwork, stonework and picture windows.
