Warwick Rotary Club president Michael Swaby had plenty to celebrate this week.

Not only was he able to present £350 worth of hand chimes to pupils at Newburgh Primary School but he’d also just learned that a grand total of 2,000 local teddy bears had been sent to less fortunate youngsters in the Philippines who lost everything during the recent typhoon.

The hand chimes are a thank-you to the pupils for their part in Warwick School’s fundraising concerts.
