A man who was involved in a crash in Hampton on the Hill that destroyed his car was lucky to escape without serious injury.
An ambulance was called to the scene on the A46 on Monday at 2.15pm and crews arrived to find a car that had left the carriageway, overturned and come to rest in a ditch.
The driver of the car, a man in his 20s, had been helped out of the vehicle by a passerby.
Ambulance crews assessed the man and luckily all he had suffered was a minor hand injury. He was treated at the scene before being taken to Warwick Hospital for further assessment and treatment.
