Swinging Britain will be brought back to life during 1966 and All That - an evening of disco dancing, dressing up and a ‘60s quiz in Warwick’s Court House ballroom.

The event will be held on Saturday May 14 and tickets are now on sale, with guests invited to go all out and dress up, as well as bringing their own pictures to add to a themed news board.

Unlocking Warwick secretary Rick Thompson said: “We are organising a show-and-tell display and hope some guests might think it’s fun to bring some of their own sixties pictures or memorabilia.

“We’ve been searching the local archives for magazine and newspaper articles including cuttings from the Warwick Advertiser, now the Courier, of that year.”

The night will include a fish and chip supper and chance to test your knowledge with a quiz. Music will be provided by Warwick DJ Stevie.

Tickets are £19.66 including food and a drink, available from the information centre on 492212 or by email at [email protected]
