Chippy continues 100-year Warwick tradition

A new fish and chip shop has opened in Warwick at the site where fryers say the tasty treats have been served for the past hundred years.

The Chip Shed has opened its doors at 24 West Street in what they hope will continue a long-running tradition for years to come.

The team, who have won awards all over the world for their fried fish and chips, say they are proud to be setting up in historic Warwick.

Industry veteran. Gregg Howard and Dan Chuter who have launched the business, said: “We have brought this great British dish back to its fundamental routes.

“We believe that you shouldn’t change something that works so well.

“The Chip Shed team will strive to produce the best fish and chips in Warwick and then the world.”
