Burglars steal from bereaved villager near Warwick

A bereaved resident in Claverdon was targeted by burglars on Monday evening (February 17).

Intruders forced their way into the home in Station Road in the village some time between 5pm and 10pm and stole a quantity of jewellery, watches and laptop equipment.

Police officers investigating the incident say that the loss of these items has deeply impacted the victim, who has recently suffered a bereavement.

The officers are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who may have information about the burglary to contact them as soon as possible.

They are also keen to hear form anyone who has been offered any similar items of property for sale, or is aware of them being offered for sale.
