Waiting for Video...

Several items of valuable property - including antique silverware and jewellery - were stolen from a house in Leamington Hastings.

Police have issued images of some of the stolen property in the hope of tracing it.

The burglary was reported on Friday December 20 at about 5.25pm on and is believed to have happened between 3pm and 5pm.

A woman who lives at the house returned to find the back door open and lights on inside.

Burglars had conducted an untidy search of the property and stolen a selection of antique silverware and jewellery, as well as electrical items.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who was in the area on that Friday afternoon and saw any suspicious activity, or who is aware of the stolen property being offered for sale.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 and ask to speak to DC Gary Hammond in Rugby CID.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
