Warwick and Leamington Labour Party is hosting a panel discussion on the referendum on Britain’s membership of the European Union.
Neena Gill Labour MEP for the West Midlands and Lee Barron Midlands Secretary for the Trade Unions Congress are to speak at the event, which will take place at North Leamington School in Sandy Lane on Saturday April 9 between 11am and 1pm.
Ben Wesson, Warwick and Leamington Labour Party’s European Champion, will chair the session. He said: “In just under four months’ time, people across the United Kingdom will go to the polls and decide whether we should remain inside the EU. Residents from Warwick and Leamington will be amongst them.
“We are hosting this event as we want to help local people make an informed choice ahead of the referendum. We hope you will come along to hear from our panel of regional politicians. “There will be plenty of time to question the speakers on EU issues and what the upcoming referendum could mean for people in the West Midlands.”
