Dancers from Alison Fuller’s School of Dance in Kenilworth raised £1,000 for the England Family Support Group after performing their show ‘Mr Shufflebottom’s Secret Shed’.
Duane England, from Kenilworth, has motor neurone disease, and his daughter Sophie performed in the show. The support group was set up to help make the Englands’ lives easier.
Alison, who organised the show, said: “It’s great to put on an event that gives the students the opportunity to perform in front of a live audience, whilst raising £1,000 for such a lovely family.”
On the support group’s Facebook page, Tracy England, Duane’s wife, said the amount raised was ‘fabulous’, and praised Alison and the dancers’ work.
