At the end of a harvest festival at Warwick Prep School the girls, staff and parents formed a human chain to carry all the produce out to a van which took their donations to the Warwick and Leamington Foodbank.

The foodbank was set up in July, 2013, and is run almost entirely by local volunteers. Since April this year supplies have been handed out to more than 1,752 people. Teachers at the independent school felt getting involved in carrying the food made a stronger impact on pupils.
