South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust used the Gurdwara Sahib in Warwick to host a workshop on the sensitive issues surrounding care at the end of life.
The event focussed on the religious, cultural and spiritual needs of patients and people in the audience were able to address questions to a panel of specialist nurses and faith leaders.
It is the third event of its kind to take place in the county.
Maggie O’Rourke, leader for equality and diversity for the trust, praised the interaction between audience members and speakers as they exchanged views and learned directly from each other.
Ms O’Rourke said: “The end of life workshops have been a fantastic opportunity to bring the community and different services together to learn about religious and cultural needs for end of life patients in an open and supported environment.
“I would like to express our gratitude to the Gurdwara Sahib for its support with this event.”
