A gang of men accused of attempting to steal a Waitrose cash machine have appeared in court after a car chase by police in the early hours of Monday.
Officers were called out to reports of suspicious activity around the HSBC ATM in Bertie Road at around 3.20am on September 29.
A police chase across several forces led to the arrests of four men from the Birmingham area who were stopped by officers on the M40 later that morning.
The men were charged with conspiracy to steal as well as aggravated taking without consent of an Audi which was stolen from Bicester.
They all appeared at magistrates court in Leamington on Wednesday October 1.
