Staff at Plus One Personnel held a collection in the run up to Easter weekend and collected more than 60 chocolate eggs to donate to the Warwick and Leamington Foodbank.

Angela Watson, Leamington brank manager, said: “We wanted to help those families whose Easter won’t be about eggs and chocolate, but about a struggle to put even the most basic of food on the table.

“We are proud to support the Warwick and Leamington Foodbank again and have collected chocolate treats to add to each foodbox to help put a smile on the face of an underprivileged child this Easter.”

Andy Bower, manager of the Warwick and Leamington Foodbank, said: “Times of celebration such as Easter can put extra pressure on families and individuals who are already struggling to put food on the table. There just isn`t enough money in the pot for extras like Easter eggs for their children and special food that many of us would take for granted.

“We are grateful to Plus One Personnel for their generous donation to this worthy local cause.”
