Evelyn’s Gift is now a registered charity after launching its fundraising activities in Warwick last summer.
The charity was set up to spread little acts of kindness following the sudden death of seven-year-old Evelyn Smith in 2013.
Her mother, Helen who is behind the charity said the new official status (charity no. 1165015) will help them secure grants and funds.
The charity has six trustees and helps provide potentially life-saving CPR training in schools and colleges across the county.
It also does work with Leamington Night Shelter and women’s refuges, and has launched a Be Happy Day to encourage others to carry out acts of kindness to help those in need.
