Leamington business Twirling Toddlers was a winner at the Whats On 4 2014 Junior Awards.
These awards are now in their eighth year, celebrating everything from best activities, venues, classes and volunteers .
Twirling Toddlers picked up the award for the ‘Best New Activity’ category at Drayton Manor Theme Park.
There are 22 different categories at the awards ranging from ‘Best Pre/Post Natal Activity’ to ‘Most Outstanding Community Group Volunteer for children’, and in total 90,000 votes were cast across the different categories.
Twirling Toddlers is based in Leamington and Coventry and aims to provide pre-school dance and gymnastics for children aged from four months to seven years old.
Founder and creator Michelle Venter said: “It is a huge honour for Twirling Toddlers to be awarded Best New Activity. Many thanks to all our parents who voted for us.”
The votes were cast from March 12 to May 15 with the winners of the awards then announced about a month later.
Marilyn Bradshaw and Bev O’Sullivan from the awards organisers ‘What’s On 4 UK”, said: “Even after a huge awards programme last year, 2014 has seen our biggest and most exciting awards to date.
”It’s been a very closely fought contest. All of our finalists should be very proud to be held in such high esteem by the nation’s parents. Congratulations to all our winners.”
This year’s awards have been the most successful, with record numbers of votes cast and they have gone worldwide to places such as Australia and Ireland.
