Attack in Leamington nightclub: police seek witnesses

Police are appealing for witnesses to the assault, which occurred at Altoria in Warwick Street at around 3am.

The victim required medical treatment for injuries to his aim following the incident.

A 25-year-old man from Leamington was arrested in connection to the incident on suspicion of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm. He has been bailed to return to the police station on August 12.

Detectives investigating the assault understand that there were a number of other people present at this time and would like to hear from any witnesses, who are asked to contact Police Staff Investigator Andy Smith or Det Con Phil Hewish by dialling 101, quoting incident 0053 of June 28 2014.
