Emergency services were called to a four-car collision outside Warwick School this afternoon, with a plea for drivers to avoid the area.

The extent of the injuries or the vehicles is not yet known, but Myton Road is blocked, with drivers advised to take other routes homes.

A West Midlands Ambulance Spokesperson said they were called to the scene just before 4.20pm and assessments are still being made.

He said there was just one ambulance at the scene which would suggest only minor injuries at this stage.

He said: “We were called to Myton Road just outside Warwick School and crews are still on scene.

“The extent of injuries is not known at this stage.”

Traffic is described as being bad around the road, with drivers urged to take alternative routes for the next few hours.

More to come from police and emergency services.
