Friends and colleagues have been shocked by the death of a Warwickshire estate agent.
Malcolm Hawkesford, of Bearley, near Stratford, died suddenly early on Monday morning. He was 58.

The former Warwick School pupil and chartered surveyor had this year sold many of the branches in a chain he had built up since setting up his estate agency in Southam in 1991.

He was a keen cricketer, sailor and football player and had often used his skills as an auctioneer to raise money for charities.

His friend Mike Barnwell of Newey Properties said: "Malcolm packed more into his life than most of us will pack into two or three lives.

"He was a fantastically generous man, a wonderful family man and a great friend. He was so much part of Warwickshire life for our generation and for many other people too.

"I don't think there will be a church in Warwickshire big enough to hold his funeral."
