A Harbury doctor accused of running over a tanker driver will stand trial in the New Year.
Dr Tamara Everiss, 38, has denied killing former Coldstream Guardsman Melvin Lee on December 21, 2007.

Her Rover 75 car is said to have been in collision with Mr Lee, a Smethwick man who represented England at cross country, while he was standing near his parked tanker as she was leaving the village at around 7.30am that morning. He died at the scene.

Prosecutor Matthew Barnes said the trial could not be heard before January 2009. Dr Everiss was granted unconditional bail.
