SISTERS Fiona and Jean Kelly will continue Leamington Music’s Summer Concerts series at the church of St Mary the Virgin in Ulenhall next Saturday.
With Fiona playing flutes and Jean playing the concert and Celtic harps, the sisters will perform pieces by Mozart, Debussy, Hasselmans, Alwyn and Hamilton Harty.
They will also play a selection of traditional Irish airs and dance tunes.
Jean and Fiona come from an Irish family which has several generations of professional musicians.
Fiona is currently based in New York, having capped many awards with a scholarship to the Juilliard School. The sisters have given recitals throughout the UK and have appeared on P&O Cruises.
With other London-based Irish musicians, they have recently recorded a CD, Toss the Feathers.
They have played the Mozart Concerto for Flute and Harp with the Irish Chamber Orchestra and will be touring it in July with the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland.
Jean played for the Queen on her visit to Dublin in 2011, for Mary McAleese on a presidential visit to Austria and with Seamus Heaney to open the World Harp Congress in Dublin.
She has recorded with The Chieftains and is on the soundtrack of Lord of the Rings.
Tickets for the concert, which starts at 7.30pm, cost £10 for adults and are £1 for students and children.
