Does anyone remember Healey Motor Cars of Warwick?
If so, Warren Kennedy who runs a classic car restoration company in Bedfordshire, would like to hear from you.
He has written to the Courier/Weekly News to appeal for help from readers.
He said: “I have always been a big fan of early Healey Motor Cars built by Donald Healey in Warwick. About two years ago we came across the first car built by Donald Healey in 1945-46.
“After two years of research and forensic confirmation on the chassis, we are about to start the restoration.
“We hope to rebuild the car as it was originally designed by Donald Healey.
I have unearthed a few photos, etc, but we are missing important information as to the rear of the car, details of tail lights, etc, as it has always been the manufacturers’ habit of photographing the front three quarters of cars.
“I was hoping someone in the Warwick area may have some old photos or information that would help us out. I have attached a copy of the original press photos of the car.”
