Four of us went one evening and the place was a great find as not too far from me. The service was friendly and efficient. We all enjoyed our meals, with the exception of one of the starters (vegetarian), that was randomly changed, and only loosely resembled the description on the menu.
Otherwise, a good casual place to visit in the evenings.

Five of us booked at reasonably short notice for dinner the night before father's day.
Service was great, friendly and attentive, venue is beautifully decorated, comfy and smart at once.
The menu offers sharing, small and large plates to suit. While my lamb, potato rosti and creamed cabbage and leeks was a poor choice, the pork dish, fish and chips and duck salad my companions ordered got great reviews. The starters were large, with a lot of choice, and while only two had dessert, both choosing blueberry cheesecake, the portion was big enough for the rest of us to share.

A charming Warwickshire pub with an excellent menu, great service and very friendly staff. After taking my parents, brother and partner there for a meal, everyone came away with smiles on their faces and stuffed bellies. The pate starter is particularly good, served on a wooden board for a rustic feel and accompanied with an apple and cinnamon chutney and mounds of fresh warm bread. Also I opted for the classic fish n chips for my main which didn't dissapoint. All in all a very good night.
