Youngsters put their lungs to good use by competing in a junior town crier contest in Leamington on Saturday.
The event was organised by the Spa Centre to offer children the chance to win family tickets to this year's Jack and the Beanstalk panto.

Hosted by Touch Radio presenter Ben Day, who will be starring in the production, the contest attracted 25 entrants.

Each child was rated on the volume and clarity of their presentation and there was a tie-break between four children - Biom, Melissa, Jack and Tyler.

But the winner was eight-year-old Jack Walker who received a certificate and tickets.

Everyone who entered was given a voucher for discounted panto tickets and got to meet the panto cow Daisy.

Marketing officer Sarah Pain said: "Each of the children gave it their all and the support from the crowd was lovely.

"Jack was a worthy winner and leapt from the stage in delight when he won."

Tickets for the Christmas panto are available online at www.royal-spa-centre.co.uk or by calling 334418.
