Footballers' Wives star Georgina Mellor is planning to use her acting and dancing skills to create "novel" parties for children in and around Leamington.
Mellor played scheming Aneka Beevor in two series of the ITV spin-off Footballers' Wives Extra Time and has also appeared in shows including Fat Friends and Northern Lights.

The 30-year-old trained dancer directed and starred in the Spa Centre’s last panto Aladdin and moved to Leamington just before it started to be with her boyfriend.

She said: “The people are lovely, it’s a very beautiful town. I also like the student feel which is similar to that of my home city of Manchester.”

She is currently filming the part of a school teacher called Miss Todd for the ITV drama The Royal.

But in her spare time continues to teach dance, drama and singing and it is these skills she hopes to use to get children to “entertain themselves”.

She said: “I just thought it would be a novel party theme. The children would be able to learn a song and a dance and some drama. I would supply the music and costumes and at the end they would be able to perform it for the parents.

“There are lots of parties where children just sit and watch entertainers, but in this they would be entertaining themselves.”

The parties would be for a maximum of 20 four to seven-year-olds. To contact Georgina call 07799 612197 or email ggparties@live.co.uk
