The Warwick Words festival was a huge success attracting record audiences from across the country.
Highlights included Louis de Bernières, Max Arthur, Andrew Davies, Felix Dennis, Brian Patten, Tony Hawks and Charley Boorman who closed the festival to a sell out audience on Sunday evening.
The Young Words festival for young people and families was a hit with all our young guests. Tony de Saulles demonstrated how to draw ferocious dragons and Pippi Longstocking had all her friends dancing around the library.
The festival committee apologises to people who bought tickets to see Gerald Scarfe, Frances Fyfield and Paul Rose. These events were cancelled due to illness. A full refund will be issued.
Warwick Words has one final event with Alexander McCall Smith on October 27 at 7.30pm in the Guy Nelson Hall. To book tickets call 01926 776438.
