Kenilworth Castle will provide the backdrop for Heartbreak Production's Henry V this weekend.
The open air production, which appeared in Leamington’s Jephson Gardens in July, completes its 18-venue UK tour at the castle on Saturday and Sunday evening.

Cast member and former Warwick School pupil Joe Herzfeld is happy to be appearing in the final performances near his home.

He said: “The nationwide tour has been amazing.

“But it will doubly fantastic to finish the run in my old stomping ground.

“Kenilworth Castle is one of the UK’s most impressive landmarks and it’s so atmospheric. It will be a joy to perform there.”

The play takes the audience from a 1980s boarding school to the 15th century battlefields of France and offers a new take on Shakespeare’s much celebrated piece.

Henry V is an inspirational story about the triumph of human spirit against adversity which also portrays the horror and camaraderie of war.

Audiences are encouraged to bring picnics and rugs so they can settle back and enjoy the entertainment.

The shows start at 7.30pm.
