Some 11,000 objects including paintings, ceremonial daggers and bathing objects from Leamington Art Gallery and Museum can now be viewed online.
The 'Tapping In' project to add all of the Pump Room's collections to an online database started in 2006 and will be officially launched on August 28.

There are more than 4,500 images on the website, which has been created to allow people to carry out their own research into the collections.

Digitisation officer Rozi Smith said: "The new website is a fantastic resource for those interested in everything from art to local history, including people who are researching their family tree.

"It's also a chance to view objects which are not currently on display."

The project was carried out with Warwickshire County Council and with financial support from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
