Leamington army cadet drummers are looking for someone to get them ready for the town's Remembrance parade in November.
The Leamington Spa Platoon Army Cadet Force has more than 50 members who parade and a number of these plan to form a new Corps of Drums.

On October 17 the cadets will attend a week's band camp with the regular army.

Training officer Cpt Martin Gordon said: "The plan is to have the corps ready to lead the Remembrance parade.

"For the last few years this important parade has had no marching band and we hope the Corps of Drums will be very popular with future events.

"Funding is going well, with support from the town council, yet we are keen to recruit a local instructor to teach them."

Previous band experience preferred. Adults also interested in becoming youth instructors are needed - no experience required.

The platoon parades on Mondays and Thursdays from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Anyone interested please call 077 7034 8898.
