Children can join mole and his friends at the Priory Theatre for a production of The Wind in the Willows next week.
The much-love children’s classic is based on author Kenneth Graeme's own childhood experiences of boating on the Thames and rambling in the surrounding countryside.
It follows the adventures of mole who escapes his spring cleaning to go on adventures in the Wild Woods with new friends Badger and Rat.
But their greatest adventure of all is the battle to keep the wealthy, but irresponsible, Toad out of his motorcar and on the straight and narrow.
Directed by Anita Dalton, the play forms part of the Kenilworth theatre's 75th birthday season.
q The Wind in The Willows will run from May 7 to 17. Tickets for the first two performances are now sold out. Call the box office on 863334.
