Kingsley School reception pupil Guy Joseph made this creature from recycled household rubbish as part of work about dinosaurs.
The four-year-old used cereal packets and a juice carton to put the tyrannosaurus rex together.
Deputy headteacher Steve Crump said: “As a school we make them aware of environmental issues from a very early age.
“They go out on visits to see how things are made and how rubbish is recycled. We teach them that it’s about making the most of the earth.”
Staff are hoping to apply for eco-school status next year. The accolade is given to centres which complete an environmental review, produce an action plan and teach children about environmental issues.
