Igor the Bird brings music to Leamington school pupils

On Monday, Learning Music, working in partnership with Music in the Round, were visiting Kingsway Primary School to bring a unique musical experience.� They performed "Igor, The Bird who couldn't Sing". PROFESSIONAL musicians have inspired schoolchidlren to try out different musical techniques at a free session run by Leamington Music.

The company’s education programme organised for musicians from its Music in the Round series to visit Kingsway Primary School in Leamington last Monday to perform Igor, The Bird Who Couldn’t Sing to both Kingsway pupils and children from Clapham Terrace Primary School who joined them for the session.

The programme has been bringing sessions to schools and youth groups across south Warwickshire since it ran a successful pilot project in 2010.
