Hair Management of Warwick closed both its salons for two days in March so that all its staff could attend a training course.
Directors Stephen Morley and Adrian Court took the entire team from Brook Street and The Club, Warwick Gates, to the training event run by 365 Salon Education Team in Marlow.

The company received a grant from the Edge Training Award.

Mr Morley said: “We took the decision to get all the members from both salon teams together in one place at one time so that everyone could share in the same experience. For some of the team, especially the younger members, only 16 years old, it was the first time they had stayed in a four star hotel, and certainly the first time they had stayed anywhere on business.

“The aim was to encourage teamwork and improve the standard and consistency of service and customer care.”

Susie Roberts, manager of The Club, said: “The two days away together were a really amazing team building exercise. Regardless of age, sex, salon, everybody had fun.”
