Leamington company Comtec Translations has become the latest business in the West Midlands to use the services of a graduate scheme set-up to address the 'brain drain' from the region.
The language and translation services company in Brandon Parade is one of the first companies in the town to form a partnership with Graduate Advantage.

Funded by Advantage West Midlands, the initiative matches students and graduates to a range of paid work placements with firms from four weeks to 12 months.

Four months ago Comtec recruited Aston University masters graduate Helen Dyer for a three-month placement. Helen, who has a masters in translation and a degree in French and German, is now on a rolling contract with the company.
