Southam postal workers have been criticised for delivering a poor service.
Park Lane resident Alf Wilson, 75, was left with credit card charges of £36 to pay this year after his statements were not delivered for three months in a row.
And, according to the former head chauffeur at Ashorne Management College, whether po
st arrives on time is "hit and miss".
Mr Wilson said: "It's been crazy for months since before Christmas. I didn't receive three of my Mastercard statements so incurred charges, which they called me about and I ended up paying off over the phone.
"I would normally pay the bill before the end of the month so was quite annoyed about this.
"The post has been on and off, then I get a whole bundle of post and letters for other addresses pushed through the letterbox."
Mr Wilson lives in a block of flats, each with their own postbox and a communal one at the entrance.
He has spoken to neighbours at nearby Park Lane flats and found they are experiencing similar problems.
He said: "Some people are going up to the trading estates' depot to collect their own post as they know it will not be delivered.
"And on Monday a parcel was left outside the entrance to the flats. This could have been stolen or rained on. It's just not good enough."
Royal Mail spokeswoman Jane Thomas said the manager at Southam's delivery office in Southfield Road was not aware of any long-term problems.
She added: "All the mail that has come in to the office has gone out every day except from last Friday and Saturday.
"We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and the manager is taking steps to make sure it doesn't happen again. If anyone has any specific issues they would like addressing they can call the customer helpline on 08457 740740."
