The King and I 1968

Some performers in the LWMS version of the King and I are not new to the production, as this picture shows.

Martin Key (front row, third from left), Pat Montgomery (second row, second from left) and Graham Beaty (third row, third from left) were also members of the 1968 cast and have been playing an active part in the group ever since.

Director Stephen Duckham said: “People like these stalwarts have been doing shows on a regular basis for years. They’ve got very good at it by now!

“That’s what makes up a company, that people come together from all walks of life to put on a show.

“They know what part of the production they want to do and enjoy playing their role. There’s a great sense of camaraderie.”

Were you, or anyone you know, in the 1968 production too? Call Tom Sales on 457733.
